The Room with no lights

In this room, a room with no lights
I seek refuge after every fight
Its close cornered walls and darkness
reminds me for the reason of my punishment
Its too short bed
Replays all the words that've been said
Adding insult to injury, wounds and salt
Shows all my weaknesses, my fears, my faults
My soul heart, verbal marks left red
My anger and hate have been fed
Scars reopen at my latest visit
The rose tinted view cannot trick it
And here I am seeking refuge after another fight
In the Room With No Lights

It's a very sad poem...and nice how you portray the room as being both a prison and a place of refuge.
good stuff :)
